So a couple of weeks ago a couple of my best girls and I decided to take our best girls to paint pottery! Each of them made crafty gifts for loved ones. We had a great time and I can't wait to go back.

Tonight as I was reading my sweet girl a story she yawned, told me she loved me soooo much (melt), and then said:
"Mommy, I need to close my eyes. I need to close my eyes so I can fly on an airpane and go up up up. I read books on airpane. I color on airpane. I do flashcards up in the sky. We go to castle and see princess! Mommy, you give Mickey a hug?"

I love this kid!

Taking a moment

I refuse to get caught up in a debate over the effectivness of our judicial system. I prefer to continue to be grateful for it. There will be countless debates over the case. I would just like everyone to take deep breath, think about that sweet little baby girl, and give thanks to Him for taking her to her rightful place in heaven. With that said there is no doubt in my mind that her mother is sick, sick sick sick. If my sweet baby girl were missing for 31 seconds I would be a crazed woman calling every outlet I knew for help. How that woman went 31 days in lies I will never understand. She will be judged. She will be punished. For now I will pray for the peace of those who suffer and feel the pain of the loss of such a sweet shining star in this world. Let us be thankful for that sweet smile that blessed the world for her short time here. RIP sweet baby girl.

Not Cool

So Jeremy is "The Grillmaster", he's constantly trying new recipes, ingredients, techiniques.. This week he bought some "Italian Burgers". Grills them up and proceeds to tell me when we sit down to eat that they didn't grill up quite right. I am thinking this can't be good. My poor husband is subject to trying to make meals with the girl that is pretty much a grilled chicken 1000 different ways kinda person. I give it a try....... take a bite.... decide that color isn't right. I immediately ask him if he is trying to trick me and get me to eat BAMBI! He laughs and says "of course not honey." I don't believe it. This is not a cow. It's pink. Bleh! So I apologize and skipped that part of dinner. So tonight my husband gets an adorable grin on his face and says "so um, I figured out why those burgers didn't grill up quite right." I say "do tell."
It was veal!

Me = picky about meat.
Me = scarred for life.

That's not cool. Not cool at all.

I think veggie burgers are in the near future.
